The apple doesn't fall far...

My family, what can I say? We laugh with each other, cry with each other and all in all love each other.  I can honestly say that I would give up everything for my family. They help me succeed in all I set out to do, and let me tell you I am always getting into something!  As a kid I was always adventurous, loud and overwhelming. So I'm thankful that my parents didn't just give me away. I also have three younger brothers, Jon, Jared and Aaron. I love them so much and although as brother they get on my nerves, I wouldn't give them away either. I've notice recently that as I prepare to go my family is preparing to not have me, in which case my brother Jon is jumping for joy. I realized that they were going to be alright with out me. I guess I always had this notion that if I left they would fall apart, how self-centered and totally unaware was I. In actuality it will be me that has a hard time living without them!  My family has alway taken care of me and I in return have tried to do the same, but sooner rather then later I will have to take care of myself and fall ... from the tree.

  1. Emma~ you have always been a joy in our families life. You have an infectious spirit about you that people are drawn to ....one that you will take with you wherever your adventures take you! life is a journey and as you leave the 'branch' you have been raised in and start your own realize that the talents, kindness and spirit you have developed while in our home will be the foundation for your own~ We love you so much and are proud that you are ready to stretch out from the branch and spread your wings, beaware of the beautiful world around you watching out for the chipmunks who try to discourage you from landing on the soft and gentle ground surrounded by the other 'apples' Enjoy the adventures and have faith in your guide! Remember Families are Forever and we are just a phone call away!
