Accepted

I realize that I haven't written in quite a while, I've officially been back in London for a month. I came home after living in Arizona for 6 months because it didn't work out for me. It was a great experience to be in Arizona I just couldn't stand being away any longer. I think a lot about what I learned from being away and my life has become more proactive since then. I'm getting more in tuned with myself and those around me.  It's all been such a great process. I miss very much the people I've grown to love in Arizona and I owe a lot of what I've learned to them. Besides from being home I've been searching for a job and I got accepted to Fanshawe's General art & science program. I'll transfer to Western after the year 2013, I'm super excited!! My dream of becoming a teacher is getting closer and closer, can't wait to influence the future leaders, singers, actors, teachers and of course parents.

My dear friend Emma Salt is in the Hospital right now, something is wrong with her kidney for all we know. She's been there for a week and the Doctors don't have a lot to work with. If you pray I ask that you please keep this beautiful young women in them.

It's also been great to get together with the Young Women, but now I'm in YSA here in London which is wonderful! The people are so sweet and welcoming but best of all I know most of them. I'll get some pictures soon of all of us.

The Trio had been asked to sing for the priesthood of our church which was an excellent performance, or so I hear. I've also been asked since then to be in the Musical the Ten Virgins, I will be playing one of the foolish Virgins- Malka. I'm very Trepid about it.

Snow

I know, what a strange title for someone living in Arizona! Well guess what world? No matter where I go, snow always follows. Yesterday after coming home from a YSA (Young Single Adult) activity where Elder Callister of the Seventy came to speak to us about typical YSA things, marriage, missions, families, the gospel etc. We heard from Brice's mom that it was snowing. Brooke's mom was having a SNOWBALL fight in her backyard. I have pictures to prove it even! I was so excited, I had really been missing the snow we have up in Canada.  So here's to snow!

More exciting news my Aunt Steph is 4 month Pregnant! super excited the due date is May I think... I'll have to double check for you all. So here is a picture of what baby #3  looks like at 4 months.

Oh and another amazing thing I'm home in 2 weeks!!! SUPER excited about that. I miss everyone so very much. 13 days and I'm homeward bound! xoxo Emma

American Thanksgiving 2011

American Thanksgiving was such a blast. It was the same as Canadian Thanksgiving although there was deffinetly more food. We as in my uncle Dave's family and I were able to go to the Porters for Thanksgiving it was so nice to see them outside of church. We had turkey, mash potatoes, stuffing, green bean cassorole, buns, zuqinnie bread, peacan pie, pumpkin pie and french vanilla ice cream. So delicious!! We played games and talked for hours. It was awsome. the earlier part of Thanksgiving was spent taking family photo's I was the designated photographer. It was such fun. Aunt Steph did take a few of me and the kids, so that was nice to be included in the pictures. Enjoy our Thanksgiving day.

 This is the beautiful family I get to send all my time with. I adore all of them very much. We're quite a pair that's for sure! Linnea (3) Steph and Liam (21months)

Projects

This week aunt Steph, Alana Hatch and I have been working on a swedish wall in memory of steph's parents. It turned out so beautifully. In two days I'll be doing another Blog of my First Americain Thanksgiving, which I'm really excited about. I'm going to try and get lots of pictures.

Day to Day

So far I've lived in Arizona for 5 months 2 weeks and 4 days. Here are a few things I have been able to do. watch Brynlee, go to Footloose with my Galpals,Plasma Cars with Liam, play with the doggies, watch Liam ride his first bike, go to my Pathways class, watch Linnea, look after the Porters,watch the kids got to school, be forever goofy,watch the times and seasons and of course be as busy as ever with school, church, social and personal.

1 month left everyone! I will soon be home to enjoy your company once more. Xoxo Emma
